R version 3.6.3 () - "Holding the Windsock" Copyright (C) 2020 The R Foundation for Statistical Computing Platform: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu (64-bit) Here's the info on my R version (This was installed years ago for a uni project) I tried updating it to the newest version, but it just installed another, newer copy of R, and that version didn't integrate with my RStudio. Also, I can't figure out how to update R, if that's the problem. Installing any packages results in the same error. I've uninstalled and reinstalled RStudio, and even tried an older version of RStudio, each time getting the same error, and I'm not sure why. So, I'm pretty new to R and RStudio (Currently completing a course on it) and I'm able to do everything on posit.cloud (Cloud based RStudio), but I'd like to set it on on my linux machine (Linux Mint 21). Hi RStudio community, if you've got a few minutes, I could really use some help please.
